OCKENFOTO

Film & Photo by Corey Ockenfels

“Our shoot felt like a conversation, the whole thing was so easy.

Neither of us had really done a photoshoot like this before, but Corey made the whole thing so easy that it almost didn’t even feel like we were getting our pictures taken. He was so patient and easy going with us. And WOW did the end result turn out absolutely stunning! The way that he captured the small moments, that you think are unnoticeable, was just incredible. I constantly find myself flipping through the album because I just can’t get enough of how wonderful the photos turned out. 10/10 would recommend”

There’s beauty in everything, let me show you

Every place has a unique way to be seen and captured. Every person, despite what insecurities they may have, is capable of being on a magazine cover. Every event has the potential to be a day or night to remember. After five years of learning how to use a camera in any scenario, the focus became connecting with people to help them believe that. From a homebody, communicating with people went from inorganic to the biggest strength. Strangers became best friends. Friends became real models or even wedding day clients.

New opportunities to shoot something never done before or capturing a wedding day for the 100th time, I bring my camera with me every day. And I’m so excited to use it. Thats why every project or event includes a free ~15 minute Zoom consultation for you to see the energy I bring. To see the excitement that can’t be portrayed via text.

The day you will remember forever.

Fresh cut flowers. One of a kind suits and dresses. Tears of joy. Family from near and very far. It will be captured in a way that brings back all the butterflies, all the nerves, and all the other emotions.

It all began with a picture of a heron in Morro Bay. The first print and the realization that a hobby could be something more. The focus and subjects may have changed, but idea to put beautiful and affordable art on as many walls as possible will always be the backbone of Ockenfoto.
